Ford Ranger Hybrid Is Better Than F-150 Hybrid In One Key Area
The Ranger is currently the best-selling truck in Europe and Ford is expanding its range with a 2.3-litre hybrid system. It combines the power of the four-pot combustion mill with turbocharger, an electric motor and a small battery pack. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t provide production figures, but they say the Ranger PHEV produces more torque than any other manufacturer in history. Although we don’t know the power numbers, there are several equations that give us some context.
When equipped with the 3.0-liter V6 diesel, the truck has 443 pound-feet of torque. In terms of power, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost in non-electric form generates 270 hp, and thanks to the additional electric assistance, the new plug-in hybrid powertrain will most likely come out on top.
In terms of range, Ford says it is aiming for an all-electric range of up to 45 kilometers on a single charge. Last but not least, the braked towing capacity is 7,716 pounds, which is in line with the rest of the Ranger range. Another innovation Ford is introducing to the Ranger family is Pro Power Onboard, which provides in-bed power outlets for tools and equipment.
Visually, there are few differences between the standard combustion engine models and the new plug-in hybrid version. Naturally, a charging port has been mounted on the rear fender and you may also notice the new design of the 18-inch wheels. Last but not least, there are PHEV letters on the side sills.
Modern Style New 2025 Ford Ranger Finally Reveal

The electric truck will only be available in Wildtrak trim from the start, although more trims may be added. line-up. fast On a final note, Volkswagen has yet to confirm a plug-in hybrid version of the Amarok, which will be built by Ford at its plant in South Africa.

I’m not sure if this is true, but apparently it had to do with country-specific rules (not allowed in the US or in the AU, it must be).

I would like to see if those grill LED lights will just fit into the stock XLT grill where there is plastic.

The Jeep Gladiator mainly has it in the tailgate because of the removable roof.
I love the light bar integrated into the grille, which is a real trick that should be on the Raptor Ranger. That’s the best light bar setup from the factory yet. You’d miss it if you didn’t look closely enough at his left and right sides of the Ford logo.
This doesn’t seem much different than the ’24 Ranger Tremor already available in other markets. The only news is that it is now available in the Australian market.
2025 Ford Ranger Tremor Tested Off-road!
There have been a number of ’24 Ranger Tremor reviews posted on YouTube over the past year. Most reviews are positive about the price/specifications of the luxury Wildtrak and Wildtrak X. It seems to be the best off-roader for the money.

These lights will not fit in a current American grill due to the way the grill is constructed. Originally my lights were connected to the high beam signal wire in the cabin, but that wire is only a 12 volt ground signal present on low and high beam. I’m not sure why the wire is called “beam lights”. My grill lights are now wired to come on when the lights are on and they look great.
What does that version of the Tremor add to the Ranger….And is it based on the XLT or Lariat version?

The luxury Wildtrak models appear to be based on the Lariat trim.

The last generation had the Tremor package as an option for XLT or Lariat trucks (same as the Maverick now). Hopefully it will remain that way for the next generation.
