Fordredesign.com – The next 2024 Ford Focus ST will receive minor modifications. This hot hatch will not be redesigned, contrary to popular belief. The 2022 model year had a great redesign, with a new front fascia. This has a new grille and LED headlights. The Fiesta also features a new mild-hybrid system.
This variant has a computerized driver’s display and various driver-assistance features on the inside. The Focus ST, on the other hand, is a more sporty version with better performance, more premium amenities, and a very athletic design. While we don’t know everything, here’s what we do know thus far.
2024 Ford Focus ST Design
Exterior Design
The first spy photographs of the 2024 Ford Focus ST surfaced recently. However, because it is a pre-facelift model, we do not know what the final product will look like. Anyway, this prototype has gold brake calipers, and the new model appears to be lower than the current one. Furthermore, the dual exhaust tips are plainly visible. This strongly implies that the Blue Oval will introduce a more powerful powerplant choice.
Because the RS model would not be produced, the Focus ST will remain the company’s lone high-performance vehicle. It will have many similarities to the Ford Puma ST. The Focus model has already received a new front fascia, with a redesigned grille and brand-new Matrix LED headlights. The ST variant will also receive the same changes, but it will be more sporty and will have more black accents. Finally, the Focus ST will get new alloy wheels and exterior colors.
Interior Design
We don’t anticipate any substantial modifications inside the cabin. The new 2024 Ford Focus ST will come standard with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. As a result, the interior will include fewer typical dials. The Focus ST also has an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen.
The infotainment system will be updated significantly, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard. This ST variant, as opposed to the base trim level, will have sportier seats, distinctive upholstery, and additional standard equipment. However, this is all we know about the interior of the Focus ST.
2024 Ford Focus ST Engine
The same 1.5-liter gasoline engine will power the 2024 Ford Focus ST. According to reports, this engine will be retuned and will create more power than previously. To be more specific, this engine will provide higher torque. The current model produces 213 lb-ft of torque, while a future generation is expected to produce up to 236 lb-ft of torque. The Focus ST will have 200 horsepower as well.
This model, on the other hand, is expected to receive a mild-hybrid engine in the near future. Furthermore, an all-electric version is a possibility. Because Ford and Volkswagen are collaborating on ideas and technologies, the next Focus will be built on the MEB skateboard platform. As a result, electrification is the only logical result.
2024 Ford Focus ST Price and Release Date
