Fordredesign.com – The 2025 Ford F-450 is the family’s largest truck and a little update over the F-350. The F-450’s starting price is more than $10,000 higher, but that’s because it has a turbodiesel engine. If you put the Powerstroke engine in the F-350, the price difference will be smaller.
The truck’s capability is renowned. Every year, engineers increase the towing capability somewhat. The 2025 Ford F-450 might weigh up to 40,000 pounds. Unfortunately, both the 7.3-liter Godzilla engine and the new 6.8-liter mill are not available for this one. That’s too bad.
The F-450 Super Duty truck has the same trim levels and options as the F-250 and F-350 trucks. There are six trim levels to choose from: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. Regular Cab is also available for the two base trims. Because high performance necessitates other enhancements, the F-450 combines a diesel engine with dual-rear wheel drive.
2025 Ford F-450 Packages
The 2025 Ford F-450 is offered in six trim levels. The XL is the entry-level model with standard equipment. Steel wheels, heated power mirrors, and a trailer hitch receiver with sway control are among the features. In such a large car, an 8-inch LCD appears insignificant. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported by the multimedia system.
The XLT adds alloy wheels to the package. These, however, are smaller (18”) than steel ones (19.5”). Mirrors and the driver’s seat now have power adjustments. The front collision warning adds to the basic safety package. This function also includes automatic emergency braking.
You must spend an additional $10,000 for the 2025 Ford F-450 Lariat. However, consider the following features: remote start, rear parking sensors, LED bed lighting, leather seats with heating and cooling… A 12-inch center screen, integrated navigation, premium Bang&Olufsen sound, and wireless chargers round out the infotainment system. Of course, the corporation will improve safety. The Lariat model includes blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera.
The King Ranch, Limited, and Platinum editions are loaded with premium extras. Because they cost more than $90,000, we may term them luxury trucks. The King Ranch has an 18-speaker B&O audio system, a Pro Power Onboard charger, ambient lighting, a distinct interior motif, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Platinum updates both the exterior and interior designs, as well as introducing new parts that distinguish this model. The Limited trim level includes all of Ford’s high-end options. Massage seats, a power sunroof, a carbon-fiber interior, and a few additional features are included.
2025 Ford F-450 Specifications
The 2025 Ford F-450 will be powered by a 6.7-liter turbodiesel engine. This V8 engine produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Engineers may reexamine the arrangement and squeeze even more power and torque, as they have in previous upgrades. But that’s not all. The High Output option boosts the statistics to 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. These are improbable performances.
The vehicle can tow 35,750 pounds with this configuration and standard DRW. Again, these figures have risen dramatically in recent years. The YM in 2025 may be even closer to the magical number of 40k. A power router is a 10-speed case.
The F-450 will not be offered in a gasoline form, but there are two great options in the Super Duty class. The old one is now a 7.3-liter. It was introduced a few years ago with 430 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The entry-level V8 petrol engine now has a 6.8-liter displacement with 362 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque. It will also complete the majority of the tasks while saving gasoline. However, when it comes to hauling capacity, gasoline engines fall short of turbodiesels.
2025 Ford F-450 Rivals
Series 2 (F-250) and Series 3 (F-350) trucks have Ram and Chevrolet/GMC counterparts. The 2025 Ford F-450, on the other hand, is not a Series 4 light-duty vehicle like the Silverado 4500 Kodiak. The F-450 and F-350 are the most frequently compared aircraft. The lengths and heights are identical, with the first being slightly wider.
